On December 4, 2015, Russian Center NY organized first “Youth Forum NY 2015”.
During this forum participants discussed questions of cultural and social life of Russian compatriots in the USA, the preservation of our historic roots, culture, the traditions and Russian language, projects for the Russian speaking youth in the US, opportunities to take part in the cultural and business life in the USA.

Forum confirmed the desire of Russian compatriots in the United States to strengthen links with their historical homeland, to preserve cultural identity and share their experience to the younger generation.
The Forum also hosted a concert of the young performer, tenor Paul Sulyandziga , winner of national and international competitions, and pianist Eugene Sivtsov, performance by Russian folk dance group, as well as an exhibition of young artist Anna Guryanova .
“Youth Forum NY 2015” was organized with the assistance of Russian Youth of America Society and was supported by Consulate-General of the Russian Federation in New York, Rossotrudnichestvo, Moscow government, Moscow House of Compatriots and Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots of the USA, the Congress of Russian Americans.
The Forum was attended by 200 people representing different youth organizations in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, California, Minneapolis, Washington DC, Massachusetts, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia, Russia and the Russian-speaking community of the USA. The forum was organized for the Russian-speaking youth from 18 to 35 years old.
Elena Branson, head of the Russian Center in New York and organizer of the forum, said that next year the Russian Center, a non-profit organization of Russian compatriots in New York, is planning a second Youth Forum in New York.
